So pervasive has "eco-anxiety" become that there's now a new kind of counseling to deal with it. Yep, it's called "eco-therapy". One of the treatments is for the sufferer to go and hug a tree (no kidding).
I have my own form of eco-anxiety. It's the fear of the world being overtaken by greenies. And so I have my own form of eco-therapy. It involves dousing trees with kerosene and lighting 'em up.
I feel so much better after a session -- particularly when I get a tree with a hugger attached. Being the fiscal conservative I am, I find it doubly satisfying to get "two for the price of one".
That's my eco-therapy? What's yours?
