My own little experiment ...

Thousands of non-biodegradable bath toys that spilled into the sea 15 years ago are almost at the end of their journey.  They are due to start landing on British beaches any day now.  Oceanographers have learned much from their epic travels.

Ironic that something so environmentally incorrect could be such a boon to science, isn't it?

Inspired by this paradox I've decided to conduct my own experiment along similar lines.  I didn't use rubber frogs, but.  I chose live cane toads.  Yep, I let six hundred of them go here just yesterday. 

Will be interesting to see what influence they will have, eh?  Whatever eventuates, it's a good feeling to know that I've done my bit for science.
