It's official: The swimmer Nick D'Arcy won't be going to Beijing.
To be honest I'm kind of surprised that it took so long for them to come to this decision. I would've thought that they'd instantly banish the little twerp.
Revealingly, his coach reckons the penalty is unfair and will "affect him for the rest of his life".
No thought for the poor bastard D'Arcy allegedly belted, who now has to live with a head full of metal for the rest of his life.
With people like his coach around him all day you can see how D'Arcy became so egocentric, believing his aggro would have no negative consequences.
The coach adds that the decision "doesn't give him an opportunity to move forward and show his true character".
I think he has shown his true character, which is exactly the problem.
